Oh my God, what a movie, what an
acting. Just watched Captain Phillip and still thinking what that was. Just
want to Solute Tom Hanks for what he did.
The Movie started like any other,
but ends with Sea, ships and seal team, the things which I like most about
Hollywood movies. If we talk about
story, Tom Hanks is in the role of a ship captain, who was assigned to take a
ship to somewhere near South Africa. The Ship was full with food, drinking
water etc. When Tom came to know that they are going through the South Africa
route, he was aware about the consequences, so he asked his crew member to lock
down everything properly and conduct fake security check, just to make sure
that each and everyone be prepared for any perilous situation. However they
start their journey, in the middle of their route, captain (tom) realize that
they are being followed two small ships. To make sure this, he turned ship
direction to see if they are also turning their direction, yes they did. Once Captain
got sure that they are being followed by two ships. He immediately informed his
crews but the worst thing about commercial ships, they are not allowed to carry
any weapon so everyone got panic and don’t know what to do. Captain called
everyone and said it’s a problem but we could get out of this situation if we
stick together. Captain tried a lot to make way but he failed. They got captured
by the pirates.
After some drama, the pirates
decided to leave ship with 30000 dollars, but they also captured captain while
running in a lifeboat and this is the point of where movie changed. Once
captain got captured, how he reacts, what is the reaction of crew members and
the action taken by the Seal and navy teams to rescue him was totally ineffable.
As I said Tom hanks did a great
job but guys believe me you can’t take your eyes off from the pirates, played
by some South African actors.
Guys, if you don’t know who is
Tom hanks or still surprise why he won 70 awards including 2 Oscars, just watch
the last 5 minutes very carefully because the answer is there. I don’t want to
spoil your interest, just watch it and I am damn sure that you wouldn’t regret it.
